Audio Visual Integration and Home Automation
Many commercial and domestic projects require an interface between the lighting system and the Audio-Visual system, this is typified in meeting rooms where a third-party AV control system such as AMX or Crestron may be used to turn on projectors, close blinds and turn amplifiers on, or a home cinema which requires many of the same functions but may use a home automation brand of control products such as Harmony.
All of these systems can be primarily run from the lighting control, but should you need to integrate the lighting into a separate system we have a range of products that allow us to do so and a number of projects where this has been specified and achieved.
The national museum of Scotland where a Philips Dynalite interface is used to run sequences on the KuKa robot.
Heriot Watt University where Helvar Digidim Routers interface with the Crestron control system for all lecture theatre lighting allowing teaching staff to control all Audio-Visual aspects of the room from a local touchscreen
A large domestic property where Philips Dynalite Antumbra and Antumbra display panels were used to switch door locks as well as lighting to keep the amount of user interfaces on the internal finishes to a minimum.
